How to use: Measure out 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Catharsis powder into a ceramic bowl and mix with a very small amount of warm water, adding the water drop by drop (an easy-to-use glass dropper will be included with your order for careful addition of water to your powder), to achieve the consistency of a loose paste. To use as a cleanser: massage into skin using circular upward and outward motions, avoiding the eye area, then rinse off. 

To use as a mask: apply the paste onto freshly washed skin and leave on for 10 to 30 minutes, then rinse off. Add 1–4 drops of a facial oil or oil-based serum to the paste for a more nurturing treatment. Or add a bit of raw organic honey for an overall beautifying effect.

They suggest using a flat mask brush to easily apply this product, resulting in a thin, even layer. This method of application will help you use just the right amount and give you the maximum number of applications from each jar. Also, more and more customers and green beauty bloggers have suggested a very savvy tip that they  recommend as well: mist the face with any hydrosol, facial toner or mist, or even just water periodically while the mask is on; this will keep the mask moist. This reduces the drying effect of any mask and enhances the nourishing benefits of their Catharsis Face Mask ingredients.
